Dr. Abha Agrawal's Books

Dr. Abha Agrawal is the Founder of A4 Clinics, a positive social impact venture with the aim to reduce the burden of unnecessary disability in India through advanced robotic and technology based rehabilitation.

 

She is an experienced healthcare executive and a practicing physician based in New York. She has served in numerous impactful roles in diverse sectors in healthcare in USA including non-profit hospitals, public hospitals, and for-profit health IT industry.

 

On Nov 12. 2017, she was conferred the highly prestigious Make in India Award by Bharat Nirman Foundation, New Delhi. In 2011, in recognition of her role as a rising healthcare leader, she was invited to the White House to meet with President Obama’s health and economic policy advisor and to provide testimony at the US Senate.

 

She has received numerous accolades with some notables including:

  • Woman of the Year award by Congressman Danny Davis (2015)

  • 130 Women Hospital and Health System Leaders to Know” national list by Becker’s Hospital Review three years in a row (2015/2014/2013).

  • Healthcare leadership award by the American College of Healthcare Executives (2014)

She did her MBBS from SN Medical College, Agra, India, served a residency in Internal Medicine at SUNY Downstate, Brooklyn NY) and completed a fellowship in Medical Informatics at Yale School of Medicine. Her academic appointments include Clinical Professor at Ross University School of Medicine, Adjunct Associate Professor of Medicine at Northwestern University, Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine and Medical Informatics at SUNY Downstate, and clinical faculty at Harvard Medical School.
